A gentle giant of in the world of Insane, standing over 6ft 6 tall. Changes his bikes nearly as often as his underpants!!! At the moment flying around on a Kwaka ZR7. Been in or around Insane MCC since 1997 mainly due to being the middle Ogre of Pete.

  James (Grimi) - Vice President

  Rubber Jonny -

The Quiet type (NOT), there is never a dull moment around this diminutive clown for all occasions. Not unknown to have the odd Mohichan coloured for special events. Rides when the Hair-style allows.

    Lizzie -

A.K.A “The special one”, the only person to have ever used an escape lane GOING UP a mountain (yes it could only happen in Ireland). Rides a Yamaha diversion 600 every day, and you can tell which roads she uses by all the skid marks. Eats lots of veggies and warbles and strums in a band and never needs a microphone.

Nik or Wookie, Been riding since I was 16. Started on a Yamaha Fizzy, Likes GSXRs but can no longer ride them due to a drunk driver smashing me leg to bits!!! Was mechano man for a while (Three and a half years) now back on bikes and riding a Yamaha XVS 1100 and just started a GSXR hardtail chop (told ya I like gixxers, it's also gonna run nitrous tee hee). Been with the club 'bout five years.

  Pete (Grandad) -

Member since 1996. Father of three and Richard and Andrew are both club members. Occasionally ribbed for being a

Harley rider but despite their thoughts I have no problem keeping up with them! Managed to get to Biketoberfest in

Daytona Beach in 2007

  Quade -

  Richard (Rich) - Treasurer

A one man destruction unit. Been riding bikes ever since fixing one up at 14 years old. Started riding on the road at 16 and have never looked back. Insane member from the beginning and committee member for about half of that time. Have owned quite a range of bikes but the most memorable have been a TS50, NSR125RR, FZR400, RD350LC, GPZ600R, Daytona 1000, Speed triple 750, FZR1000EXUP, X11 and currently a Trident Sprint. Daddy of two (watch this space) and Pete's eldest human child.

Simon (Big Si) - Club Secretary

I joined the club after bumping into an old friend who had become a member. I was already used to the whole rally scene, and the joining the club was a natural progression. I ride my bike because, 1. waiting in traffic queues is boring, 2. there are fewer assholes on bikes. I like the biker culture because it likes to fiddle, modify and generally improve whatever the motor industry hands out. And because it is not judgemental, anything from extreme customs to total rats are seen at rallies, and accepted.

The human cake, just add flour. First bike was a 1000 Blade which is regulary pushed to its limits. Managed to destroy the

rear end of his Bike and scatter his backpack over the A40 on the wat to Toerags Rally in 2007. Likes human fuel

(alcohol of any type) and dislikes power rangers on bikes.

Rides a tedium, building a monster V8 victorian style trike, too busy to fart, let alone get out to a rally at the moment. Marrying Mo from Insane later this year! Sadly moved away from the rest of the club, but still in touch.

Sound geezer all in all, that loves his Triumph Trident. His time is usually taken up by some project or another that never quite gets finished. A cross between Gene Simmons and Angus (AC-DC). In short, nothing is ever a hassle or a worry.... just roll another my friend. Bit of a jet setter, he keeps flitting across the pond to North Carolina, to be with the woman he loves. Ahhh, ain't that sweet!
